My friend had the same problem when he bought his 2002 F350. I believe there are two wires inside the female end of the buckle. I believe that he just cut the two wires in there and spliced them together IIRC.

Had the same problem on my 01 expedition and lightning, look in the owners manual, there is a procedure to turn it off.

Step 10) Run around your truck 3 times in under 8.5 seconds at busy intersection. Beer#1down.

As Cabraco stated it is in the owners manual. I had the same on my 03 Hd. There are a few steps to it. Is easy though.....

Why not just be safe and put the seat belt on?

I don't know about the rest, but I do wear my seat belt, but there were certain times that I was doing something in the truck with it running, but I didn't need to wear a seat belt.

either just push in the latch while it's going off, or there is something you can do with the key to turn it off from the computer stand point, thats either in the manual or the dealer can do it for you.
