A Plan pricing link

I just joined the board a week or so ago. I remember reading a thread that had a link to joining up for the A Plan pricing. I remember there's a one year wait also. After over an hour of searching I cannot find it. Does anyone have a link to joining the organization for A plan pricing?

By the way, I've ordered a Sonic Blue 03 Lightning which I will hopefully have in a week or two. This interest for the plan A is for a future purchase.

Thanks for your time.

Jody

A-Plan you will not get unless you work for Ford. X-Plan you can get by joining the EAA (avaition club). Try a search on EAA. You should find your answers.

From what I hear - you now need to wait a year once joining EAA in order to get a PIN. Soooo...

There was another link a while ago, about how to obtain a PIN, but the site has since been pulled, and I guess that method is no-more.

I heard it was the opposite; X plan is for Ford employees and A plan is for members of the EAA. I found their homepage and info to join. I knew about the 1 year wait which is fine. It does not say anything about a Ford discount though; it list John Deere and some others. I don't want to join if it doesn't work for Ford.

Any ideas?

A-plan = Ford employee
D-plan = Ford dealer employee
Z-plan = Ford employee (retired)
X-plan = Ford partner

Okay, I must have mis-read some earlier posts. Will the EAA membership definitely get you the X plan price (assuming the dealer will honor it)? There is no mention of the Ford discount on the EAA webpage, although they list others.

Hate to stutter... but EAA nixed the X-Plan pins since so many people used them just for the pins in the past... again, you may have to wait over a year on the EAA membership to get one.

I'm not trying to tick anyone off; I'm just trying to verify that even after a year does the EAA still get a guy the X plan and a pin to use it? There is no mention on their site of a discount for Ford products. They list several other discounts.

Sorry for being tiring on this but would really like to verify before I join.

By a share of Ford stock. You'll get an X-Plan pin.

Thunderstruck,

Thanks for the time. I couldn't get from here:http://www.eaa.org/
to where you linked to for some reason. Don't ask me why!!!!!! I appreciate it.
