Weird thing happen on the way to work

I always wait for the idle to drop a bit, about 3-5 minutes if it is really cold like 60º (Florida) I will let it run almost 10 minutes...

James, I'd die for 60's right now.

And I'm sorry but when I spend this kind of money on a ride, I expect that sucker to be hot when I get in it

I heard that all the guys that blew plugs didn't let their truck idle 20 minutes before driving it.

Not true with mine. It gets started every week-day morning(it was 13*F here a few weeks ago) and driven immediately(no heat on)--moderately-- for the first 3 or 4 miles--with the OD turned off to keep the eng. from lugging and hunting(back and forth from 4th to 3rd, etc.). Everything warms up togeather.

My L has 44,400 miles on it with one plug change about 15K ago.
