I see there was possibly another plug launch (ala High psi)
and I am getting worried.

So...I have this question...

What is the consensus...are plugs launching only on modded vehicles or is this happening on stock vehicles too?

What with my SES light coming on after only 6500 miles, and the threat of plugs reaching escape velocity inside the engine...I'm thinking a little pre-emptive lose the truck action may be in order and I go back to the import luxo sedan and claim my mid-life crisis over.

 

just check your plugs every oil change or so...I pretty sure it happens just as much on stock vehicles also......who knows maybe we'll all get recalled and get helicoils put in?

 

Agreed. Just get it taken care of ASAP if you hear some trouble. I had time on mine, didn't do it, and whola, launched a plug. And I'm stock PSI.

Make the dealer check them if you hear something funny. It has a warranty and that is what it is for. I would bring it to the dealer before you do anything else. -Mat-
