Wink Wow, installed some new mods

I just installed a new TB from ***********.It looks similar to every other single bore I've seen. I also had my intake extrudehoned by ***********. I also bought some exhaust pieces, x-pipe and magnaflow mufflers, it will look like the kit ****** sells. I cannot post any pics(incase someone wants to sue me). I can say that I bought these parts at the lowest possible price, nomatter what these vendors (I would call most of them scam artist)say you can find parts less than what they sell for and/or go direct to manufactures. And to the people thats been crying on these other posts about who designed the parts or ideas they were BOO PHUCKING HOO! Most of these parts are made by other companies not ***, ***, ***, or ***. Just because one person puts an x-pipe on a cat-back means no one else can sell one, didn't Bassani have the first exhaust system with an x-pipe. You guys (little boys) are like 3rd graders. I will enjoy my Lightning, knowing that I did not pay what these vendors are wanting for these parts.
PS: Some of this price fixing is caused by the manufacture and not the vendors.

Quick,

Could you email me the parts and where you ordered from? The wife is getting me a cat-b for my B-day and the more I save on that the more I can spend on other mods My email is pfender@universalaccess.net I don't mind supporting the vendors but some of the prices they charge are just a little crazy!!!

Thanks
Paul

You have to shop for deals, I don't think it is available now for the price I paid. Sorry. Trust me the prices should come down, since there is more competition.

I sorta agree with ya. Since it shows you live in OHIO and if I lived in OHIO , I might think differently.
Since I live in N.J. I have the benefit of driving to my tuner(JDM) if there is ever a problem or for an install that I am not equipped for. That to me is priceless.
I know if I have a problem that I will be taken care of and it is not a big inconveniece on me.
I applaud you for finding good deals but there is more to it then that for me.

Finally....someone smart enough to worry about money lol...

Vin, I agree with you fully. As long as JDM treated me right and their prices weren't *too* high, I would stick with them every step of the way. There's no substitution for being able to call up your tuner on a LOCAL call and stop by every now and then for some goodies and tuning...

I just am a little shocked how those who live hundreds of miles away from "their" tuner kiss azz so shamelessly because they included a free sticker or boost bypass kit with their last order

Yup sure is a lot of A$$ kissing going on around here when it comes to tuners - The a$$ kissin' fools apparently haven't figured out these tuners need us WAY more than we need them ...

As far as pricing - it's friggin' "OFF THE WALL" parts for these vehicles are ridiculously priced - When a complete exhaust system headers, cats, mid pipe, mufflers, tailpipe and tips cost over $1800 something is drastically wrong somewhere ...

You can put that same system together for a Camaro for around a $1000... Come on will ya' - I'm with the dude LightninSVT - cut the ***** stop raping us on pricing ... On other forums Camaroz28.com you constantly see group pricing and tuner specials ALL the time - Haven't seen that around here and if you do thier taken $50 off the price of something that's already $400 or more OVERPRICED - Those Kooks and Dynatech headers just for headers alone shouldn't cost anymore than $650 PERIOD - $900 for headers alone, what, huh, they put people behind bars for that ... Oh yeah bottom line - as long as these people pay it and this ***** gets sold the pricing will never come down...
