electric boost gauge

electric boost gauge

I picked up my phantom 2 1/16 electric gauge today an was wondering what the positive wire should be hooked to.Will the gauge have a backlight and be dimable. Now i need to order a steering pod to mount it to.The recall function wll be nice.

its an autometer electric one. cost me 162 big ones. mechanical is like 45$ big price diference.

Is this the one you have the 5777 ?


if thats the one, the switched power goes here


The light can be tapped into any dimmed sorce many use the ash tray light to tap into.

this is where I put my Map sensor

no one knows if someone makes a digital boost gauge. heh. i guess if they did alot of people would have them.

At least two manufacturers do: Dakota Digital and Nordskog.

Also Spa Technique. Dual/digital. Two gauges in one. Very nice with alarm lights, memory, and external triggering (nos etc).
