Would it look stupid if i was to put a wheel on my truck with the width of 8.5 ?

 

 

Im guessing its a 22" or something rim? Depends on what you like...I would rather have the wide racing tires than a narrower more "bling'n" wheel.... if your truck is low enugh you wouldnt be able to see it much anyhow. I would do it..but thats me...and I want 305s

 

I would think you have a excess amount of tire hanging of the rim. I don't think it would look that bad. I just could see a reason to do it. Unless you were going with a skinnier tire. But then again I can't see why you would want to do that either. I dunno. What kind of rims are they and what size tires are you going to run>??? -Mat-

 

Well cause im thinking about getting 18 inch cause of these reasons:

1. Less of a traction problem
2. Smoother ride
3. cheaper
4. they sell drag radials in 18

Are those dumb reasons you think. Anyway most of the rims i like are 18 - 8.5 Ive been looking at the KMC wheels. Thats why i was wondering if 8.5 would look stupid.

 

whats the widest tire you can fit on an 8.5? thats whats going to make it "look" wide. Whats wrong with your stock 18s? If you want to spend a bunch of money then the 20s are a better choice...the ride quality isnt going to be that noticabley different anyhow. The side wall on a 20 determines a lot when it comes to how soft the ride is.... the suspension is the main factor in that
