Srt-10???

What is Dodge planning to sell the Ram SRT-10 for?
I've searched the net for pricing, but can't seem to find any.
No, I'm not planning to trade the L in on the ram. Just curious if it's going to be in the same price range as the L, or up there with the viper.

Thanks cyntaxx and grinomyte. Problem...well your just infecting these threads with your wit. j/k
I was just trying to prepare for the "my truck will whoop your truck's a$$" guys. Maybe come back with "I don't doubt that it will, but with the $15-$20k that I saved, I'll smile all the way to the bank" or some corney ***** like that. Or I could put all that extra cash under the hood and give him a run for his money.

honestly if you kick your truck into gear with good mods i seriuosly doubt that thing is truly much competition. Not to mention the new lightning thats gonna be coming soon will undoubtibly (cmon ford you have a reputation to keep up) beat the dodge. But if you think about it, viper runs 12's? low to mid 12's i believe. Ive seen L's run that and then some so i aint too worried once you attach an additional ton to the vehicle. But if someone gets around to supercharging that bad boy, ITS OVER! fugly *** 6 second truck lol

At one point I kept up with all the Viper stuff... I was fortunate enough to test one of the reproduction mules back in 1991...

I was impressed... but... like anything else we all want more from our vehicles... the tuners out there for the Viper are plentiful but not cheap...

Our L's appeal to the crowd that has some money and wants to juice it up a bit without breaking the bank...

That is not going to be possible with the SRT-10... don't even think of putting on a KB S/C (or any other for that matter) for the coin that we're accustom too...

A fluff article in USA Today (today's edition) says it will be around $50k. They also quoted some performance numbers also.

granted it would be expensive but can you imagine? whats that, an 8.7L supercharged engine running a 20 lb boost would kill. I dont even wanna think about it.

Highresautoimages now has pics of the SRT-10. I wish they would make up their minds what its going to look like. This one has the dual exhaust and the spoiler.

.92 G on the skid pad? how the hell? I thought L's were like .80 or so. And a viper is like 1.0. Im not really too informed on how this test works but based on comparisons that seems amazingly impressive.

I think the L has tested much higher than .80 at times.

Do you suppose that spoiler is removable?

I love how restrictive the air intake is.. Its like Dodge went " Oh ****, it doesnt fit.. ugh.. Band Aid Time"

And why are they pimping off Viper Power? That is so gay. Can they not create a special motor or what? Im not impressed nor scared to line up beside one. Bring that ugly ****!
