JDM Lower pulley Hex size?

Hey,i'm getting ready to attept to remove the "New and Improved
design" JDM interchangable lower pulley.
I've destroyed many tools and pulleys in the past with the previous designs,so i'm not even gonna attempt to use the little 5/8' hex nut on the front of the assembly.I know it'll either strip or shear off completly.
Does anyone know what size that "HUGE" hexnut is??
Looks like about 2 3/4" or so.
Where would one find such a socket?and at what approx. cost?
Thanks for any help!
-Dave

Size?

I dont know what size it is, but I have heard and seen for myself that it is a nightmare to remove.

Its too bad that nobody from JDM could take the time to answer your question, they must be busy on HD's truck or shoveling snow.

I heard NJ got lots of snow. That sucks.

I had heard that it was the same size a a "semi"
tractor's lugnuts ... So you might find some over the
road driver that could help you out with a loaner
socket....

14 MM HEX Head Socket 1/2 inch drive.
If you're just buying one-piece approx $4-$6.
If you get a set of different sizes, approx $25 to $35.

Good luck

BADBOLT2, I purchased it at this little hardware/auto-parts store in small farming town. I think its intended use is for tractors and or irrigation systems, but it is heavy duty. It is 3/4" drive.
