...Dancing Bananas to show how excited I am!
I installed the Factory Tech Valve Body yesterday... Wow!!!
You are awesome Gregg! I love the feel of the shifts now!
Stock valve body/shift feel was not bad, but after reading so many happy owners with this upgrade and the fact that it cools things down in the tranny, thus prolonging it's life, I had to do it. I'm so frik'n happy i did. It makes the L thrust foward on shifts... gotta love that!
It was not a bad install, not as messy as I thought. Only a few drops in my hair.
Using my dad's lift was a huge help...
Gregg included great directions as well.
Thanks to all my L brothers here that talked about how great the FT/VB is.
I LOVE IT! So glad I did it!

Yes, I kept it clean
And I did not even poke a hole in the stock pan. First I drained the torque converter. Then I removed all bolts in the tranny pan except the 4 corners. I loosed the back two bolts. Removed the front two and let the pan drain slowly into a drain pan bigger than the tranny pan that I had right under tranny pan. Then carefully lowerd the tranny pan a few inches into the drain pan and let it drip for a 1/2 hour. I just took my time and was careful. I had a lot of old blankets on the floor, so none got on the tile floor beside a few tiny splatters which wipped right up.
I did upgrade to a 4x4 pan, it does hang down a bit more, if I ever hit something and dent it (God, I hope not) I can go back to the stock pan.
I may just use it for a big Jello mold for now!

I did a search:http://www.dartreview.com/issues/11.12.01/gigging.html
"By the end of a good night of gigging, we have a heavy sack of frogs. Some are smaller ones, but most are larger bullfrogs, sometimes as long as a foot from head to toe. We drive home, and deposit the sack of frogs in the refrigerator. I will never forget the morning after my first night of frog gigging when, reaching into the refrigerator for milk, I saw our sack of frogs still squirming around! Those buggers really are tough."
