Has anyone blown out an axle seal?

Went to the track today. While putting on the slicks on the drivers side, i noticed some greasy juice all over the inside of the wheel.. Looked at the brake hat and sure as **** on the bottom, diff fluid is coming out. I have a blown axle seal. Guess ill add this to my shopping list... Anyone else have one?

Fog Lights Filled Half Way With Water

Yea. I couldnt heat up the slicks enough to make em stick good. As soon as i would start out in the water box, they would spin. When they began to heat up and just start to smoke a little, the diff went clunk and they would stop spinning for a second, then launch the truck 15 feet forward. Very annoying.

Track conditions were pretty bad as well.. Another Lightning i was with was cutting 1.81 60 ft times on slicks.

I havn't blown a axle seal, but I have had some problems with pinion seals. Took the dealer 3 tries to fix it.

Yeah my black 99 had a leak on the axle seal the drivers side.

My 01 has already had a pinion seal leak really bad.

This was before I installed the Roush stuff.

Some where around 45000 on the pumpkin and about 30000
on the axle seal.

Now that I think about it, the pinion sela leak is probably what caused my engine to break a rod...or maybe it could have been the brass contacts on the PCM access...

LMAO..

I fought ford on my first motor in the mustang that spun a rod bearing. It was a 6 month fight.. In the end, i had to get a new top because they let the car sit outside in the heat ( vert ), dented fender from them removing and replacing the motor, scratches in the paint and of course, one hell of a lengthly fight. I did win though. This was in 2000. The whole motor cost me $500. I forced to pay for a ESP which gave me a new powertrain warranty for 36/3..
