torque specs for installing long tubes

anyone know the torque specs on the header bolts???

Good luck with getting in there with any kind of tq wrench...Basically snug them all down evenly, get the rest of the exhaust finished, then re-check them...Drive the truck a couple of times, then re-tighten them and you should be fine.....

I don't know if this helps you at all.

exhaust manifold nuts 25Mn or 18Lb-Ft
exhaust manifold studs 10-13Nm or (7.4-9.6 Lb-Ft)added that myself

taken from pg 303-01B-323 of the 2001 manual.

What easter and mrinaldi said. Get them snug, pretty much like the plugs which are only 14lb-Ft.

I checked mine once a week for a month, then once a month for about 2 or 3 months.
