Just to comment some more on my recent Warranty denial from Ford. I knew prior to taking the truck in that conformal coating could be applied. I considered it. I did not do it. Not because I'm
holier than thou. Sure who in there right mind wants the aggrevation and hassle of the cluster ***** that is dealing with this type issue. I tend to be self destructive...Kinda like Ford's engine. Anyway I was driving a loaner Taurus yesterday....and today I'm driving a Mercury Marquee.

The thread I started Warranty Denied..was just for informational purposes...I have garnered lots of ideas and information here.

Ford only wants the appearance of propriety to decide to honor the warranty....This forces the customer to have to make moral decisions on issues that are regulated by law. While the Government tries and often does regulated morality..Ford was never considered a Religious Icon by me. If the law says an individual may use after market parts...I guess I could break the law and chance being fined and or incarcerated for using "aftermarket parts". If Ford Dictates use of proprietary parts under their warranty...which by the way is illegal in any sense of the word, then they have to supply any parts I install. Course we ain't talking Fair Trade here..we are talking FREEDOM...I pay my taxes and for that I in turn utilize the options afforded me under the law of the land...Ford being a Multi National Corporation seems to be above the law of the land. Maybe they comply in countries were gun toting thugs use a special kinda leverage.
Here in this land the weight of a major corporation is the Weapon
that kills.....deal with It..I am and will...
