Circle D in Houston built mine and I LOVED it! ZERO issues with daily driving - worked like a CHAMP at the track, too.

I've also logged over 5000 miles on it now along with a few 1/4 mile passes with no problems. Either way I think you'll be fine.

Thanks Mike
The towing issue is whats keeping me from spending the money for the convertor. I'd like to know how you make out with the 13", but that name (Art Carr) sends shivers up my back. If the trans has to come back out---------

Cool

HI!... I'm running a WORLDWIDE TRANSMISSIONS 2400 stall converter in my race built 4R70-W tranny. I luv it. It stalls exactly at 2400RPM. You name it, this converter has it. The one I have was custom built for me as a favour. It retails for about $1500.00(CAN), but I got it for $800.00(CAN). I also have 4.10 gears and 30" tall tires, and I can tell you to forget about getting a holeshot on the street. I barely go past 1/4 throttle and I'm spinning! Asphalt roads are really hard to hook on but concrete roads are a bit better. Can't wait till I get my HOOSIER QTP's on to see how it really hooks.

Fast Gator- If the weather clears up this weekend I'll at least hook up my trailer and see how she does. It may need another tranny cooler or even a deeper pan, but I feel pretty confident.

As far as Art Carr, they unfortanately messed up with the first attempt and it has scarred them in the Lightning community. I've used the products alot on numerous projects including some supercharged stangs, and my now deceased Ranger. I've always had good luck so I gave them a shot. Trust me I was worried, but it seems to have worked out
