Here is my Lightnings new friend.

I bet this truck won't be blowing any plugs either. This is the truck I was asking questions about fellas. I will be driving this a lot to keep the miles off the Lightning since I put a lot on here last year. What do you all think>??? I like it a lot and it is clean. 5.8L Mass Air(no speed density) 4x4. I am gonna do a chip, air filter setup and some exhaust. I also plan on doing an Eaton posi unit. -Mat-

I am ordering some American Racing Bajas 15X10 with some 31X11.5X15 Kumho Muds. I think those wheels and tires will make that truck really shine. I have a 4" superlift and 3" bodylift sitting in the other room that never went on my brother's old Bronco so ya know. Thanks for the compliment. -Mat-

Your friend has a sweet ride. We have a 97 2-door Tahoe at the shop now with a superlift and some 35's under it. Nice truck.

Hey that's a nice bronco....I had one at one time....for 2 weeks....i got rid of it.....i bought it used....it was a 90 model.....sweet, but the damn gas tank had rusted out because of the skid plate underneath the tank was metal.....they didn't put anything between the tank and the skid plate....might want to check that out......

I don't have the truck yet, it is still waiting to be shipped from Texas. I will check it out when it gets here. From the pics it doesn't look like this thing has a spot of rust though. Who knows. Thanks for the heads up. Come to think of it the same thing happened on a 88 Bronco II we have.

wow thats an awesome find! i was digging around for some but couldn't find any in my price range that didn't have rust and had relatively low miles (under 100k)

Yes it does look clean! Which makes me very happy. The miles aren't low though at 130K. The people that owned it were an older couple that flat towed it behind their motor home and that is where it picked up the miles. If that is true then it should be a tight nice riding truck. For the price I could not turn it down so I bought it and I hope to have it here early next week. I wish sooner but they can't do it. Thanks for all the kind words fellas. -Mat-

sweetq

i had an 84 and a 90 eddie bauer. My tank rusted out on both of them, along with the rear quarter panels.

Comming from Texas, there is probably no rot. Is that a 95 or 96???

With 130k, and towing, the tranny could be questionable. My 90 had the E40D, had some trouble with it. My father's 89 XLT had the C6, that thing was bulletproof.

Good luck!!!
