Gas would be two bucks by Fall?

Well in my neighborhood it's 203.9 and 205.9 at most stations.
Just filled up this evening at 203.9 - 23.092 gallons came to $47.08
Granted, I didn't buy this puppy for its stellar mileage, but dang, prices have gone up about 25 cents a gallon in the past 2 weeks!

Yup 91 octane.

I read on this forum that some of you have 93 octane....

What's up with that? Why don't we here in Lost Angeles...THE CAR CAPITAL OF THE WORLD...have at LEAST 93 octane ?!?!?!

I always use 93 (its at almost all the stations here on the east coast, rare to see a station that only has 92) .. on my trip to KDS this past weekend I paid from 174.9 to 177.9 and last night here in GA which always has the best prices I paid 167.9

they just keep going up, wonder how high it will get....

Yeah, but you forget we are also the unreasonable environmentalist and stupid government capital of the world. Does it make more sense now?

Not only is the octane low, but it is also chock full 'o stupid additives that no one can remember why they added in the first place.

But that makes Cali the best proving ground for performance cars--if they will run here, they'll run anywhere.

93 octane for $1.64

However, I've watched that price go up a good amount in the last week.

I don't mean this as an insult against you or something, but try as hard as I might, I can't seem to think of one single reason not to give California to the Arabs as a trade for Sadam to give up his leadership.

Well...at least it is not as bad as it was a year or so ago...yet...

Yes...that's $2.32 for "super" unleaded (91 octane)

It's only a week or so away that the prices will be back up to this level.

Hey... 03LightninRocks

Dude...what's up with that? Have a bad experience in California once?
