Question How Do I get my Light switch out????

I was going to try the Technical Article on how to make our fog lights work in the auto lamp position but I'm not sure how to pull the switch out. I stuck a little screwdriver under the notch on the bottom side and pried up and the switch moved but I’m afraid to pry any harder. Any suggestions or what am I doing wrong?

All around the switch or just in the notch area on the bottom?

pop it out first with the notch, then pry along the edges

If you want to go all out and not scratch any edges of the dash (like me). Remove the lower dash piece that is held in by a few bolts/screws. When it is off you can access the tabs that hold the switch assembly in place. Push up on the bottom tab to loosen it then one on the side......it should pop right out
