Is the Ford extended warranty transferable?

Can you sell an extended warranty to someone else? I think I've heard this before, but I'm not sure how it works. Does the warranty have to stay with the same vehicle?

warranty??????? on a Lightning? What the hell is that? J/K

I don't know if you can sell it to someone but one of the Mustangs I bought had 68K miles on it, the guy mentioned it had a 100Kmile extended on it so I went to the local Ford dealer and asked about transferring it. They said it was no problem and just charged me a $30 "transaction fee"

2K later I busted the transmission (case and all, 150shot is bad on the poor t5's LOL) and Ford covered it but told me to never bring the car back to them.

I sold a car with Ford ESP a few years back and it transfered over to the buyer for a $50 transfer fee. This is a great tool to have availalbe to sell your used vehicle IMO.

The warranty stays with the car, and can be transferred when the car is sold.
