Im trying to cover the cup holder area on the console with the braided leather material from the seats. Does the cup holder portion come off the console? Its easy to move, I just can't seem to get it off. Sure would make it easier to cover if I could get it off. Any Ideas???

 

If it does not come off, you can try unbolting the whole console.
Mine is sitting in my basement. 4 bolts, I think.

I think it does come off actually....you probably have to disasemble the whole console. I had mine wrapped in leather on my last truck and it apparantly comes apart in about 4 or 5 pieces. The cup holder/rubber part had to be stapled down from the inside after it was taken apart so it would sit flush again like it was when it was stock. So I would think it can be done... youll definitly have to disasemble the entire box though to do it, good luck
