Unhappy L not running right

Installed JDM Silver Bullet catback system and JDM reburned superchip. After everything installed, truck won't shift right, service engine light comes on, and the OFF light on the gear shifter selector blinks. If I take superchip out, and install the Diablo sport chip (that was in there to start with), the engine doesn't run right. With the superchip in the truck, the engine runs OK.

Any ideas?

It's pretty much impossible to answer your question though until you pull out the chip and see how it runs w/o one.

Also, the contacts on the PCM might be dirty. Try cleaning them and the contacts on the chips.

Try that and post your results.

Edit: crappy spelling

L wont run right

I cleaned the contacts on PCM and the engine won't run without a chip in it.

Make sure the chip fits tight on the board.

And you say that the truck will not start or run without a chip?

Are you dis-connecting the battery when removing/installing the chip?

Chip fits tight. No, truck won't run without a chip in it.

Yes, battery is disconnected when removing/installing chip.

Never had a problem like this before. Truck was fine when I drove it to the shop to put exhaust on.

Can't figure it out!

Check the rear O2 sensor on the passenger side. Maybee it got unplugged when installing the exhaust.
