WTF is an "exception" in tracking my UPS package?
I ordered a bedrug last week so it would arrive this week, along with the supposed arrival of my truck. I entered the tracking number last night, and it had stopped it's jolly voyage from texas to miami in jacksonville for 12 hours. Along with this was a status of "Exception" and under details it said "UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY CODE;FORWARDED TO DESTINATION"
Has anyone had this happen to their shipments before?
Should I be afraid? indifferent? ready to threaten lawsuits?

it's nothing. happened to me numerous times. I think it means the box is oversized an instead of trying to figure out what it is etc the just forward it to the destination and it hasn't been actually scanned yet.
A lawsuit over a bedrug which was ordered a few days ago and which still may be delivered? I think you have lost touch with reality. Shipping companies lose packages all of the time. If you don't get the package a few days after expected call the vendor and ask them to check on it.
An exception scan is a scan made in the building showing it is there and not in transit. It was delayed for some reason. Maybe it just arrived late and didn't make the truck due to weather. There are several reasons for the "exception" scan. I would call UPS and ask exactly why it was done. Hope this helps.
I would call UPS. Any time this has happened to me in the past, there was some sort of problem with the shipment.
