How much did you pay for your 03' Lightning?

I was at the dealer today and the MSRP was $33,100. I was just wondering what you guys think I can get this down to if any? What did you pay for your 03 Lightning and how much do you pay a month. I know that depends on how much of a downpayment you gave. Also what APR did you get?

I was talking to the salesmen and they offered 3 yrs of service(oil changes, brakes, etc) for free if i took it today.

Also how much do you pay for insurance?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I get a good deal.

thanks,
Noe

I paid A/D-plan price: $28,574.60

if the dealer wants to deal, I think $30,000 or $31000 would be a nice common ground.

later,
chris

The price for SVT vehicles depends on your geographic location, and number of dealers in your area. Sometimes it is better to call around and barter on the phone with other dealers.

Ford has many special pricing plans available, and of course you see a lot of people on this forum referring to the X Plan. Most of your plans come from being a FORD employee or affilliae, investor, family, etc.

Insurance depends on your age, driving history, location, etc...

I am a 29 yr old male in West Texas w/ a clean record and I now pay roughly 1300.00 per year for 100/300/100 liability & UIM, 500 coll, 100 comp, towing and rental.

MSRP for mine was 33,550. I paid X-plan which was 29,867, but you have to slap on an extra 1000 for taxes, title, tags.

I pay like 503 a month, and my insurance is just over 1000 a year.

I purchased mine on an X-plan for 29,719 + tax, tittle, etc.
And my insurance is $502 for 6 months

Thanks for the responses. I think I will keep shopping around. I live in L.A., Ca so there are many dealerships down here.

Do a search for the L in your color on the Ford Web site. Call every one of the dealers within 100 miles. Get them competing with each other. Although last year I paid MSRP at the closest dealer, virtually all of them were marking up $5,000 or more at the time. When they gave me the rap about "limited availablilty," I explained that there were 13 black L's in SoCal, so they weren't limited to me.

If I were willing do get the truck from a more remote dealer, I could have saved a few hundred.

I paid $31000.00 plus tax

2003 Sonic Blue

I probably could have gotten it a bit cheaper but this is the only one I could find that was Sonic Blue. Most other dealers didnt even know they started shipping them yet.

List was $33255.00

I paid sticker, $33K+ .......there was a $4975 mark-up which I did not pay (limited edition premium) - not! Every dealer here in Vegas has them marked-up; most did not accept MSRP offers.
