Are The Tuners At An Event Somewhere?

I've sent multiple emails to two different tuners in the past 2 weeks and have yet to receive a response.

Understandably, I could pick up the phone, but it is my preference to deal via email- at least initially. Calling from work is a bit of a problem too.

I am absolutely not trying to start a war, just want to know if something is going on. Thanks.

There are a couple tuners out there that feel they are too good to answer an email. That should be a sign to let you know just how their customer service will be after you order from them. All the tuners sell great parts but there are only a few that care about their customers. You owe it to yourself to do a little research about the tuners available and go with one that won't give you the run around. I think the tuners need a feedback system like eBay has so people can make a educated decision. Hope this helps.

That's EXACTLY what I'm left thinking. Again, not trying to start a war (I'm not naming names). I feel uneasy about investing $1500- 2000 (by mail) with someone that won't even answer my emails (plural). I know these guys are busy and I can understand, but even a simple aknowledgemnt and a "I'll get back to you " is not unreasonable to expect. If email is not the preferred method of contact, then the links should be removed from the web sites.

I've got better ways to spend my time AND MONEY than waiting for emails that never come, until I am deemed worthy of being a customer.

If they can't answer your emails then just go somewhere else. Either they don't want to do business with you or are too busy with their other customers. If you really want their product then call or wait for an email reply. If I was going to spend 2K plus I'd probably call and email to make sure we are on the same page regarding the purchase...

BTW, it probably isn't that they don't want to do business with you. I could probably email Sal to order a chip and he'd likely appreciate my business and send it to me w/o delay, because his service is pretty good.

you people

Need to start naming names - are you scared to name the business - ? What do you care - you shouldn't want to deal with them after that anyway - So lets hear it ...???

I don't want to deal with a Company like that and I'm sure there are others that feel the same - I'm not talking bashing just the facts... and if you can't report it here go somewhere else and let it fly ...

Our communication is the only thing we have -

well i know my e-mail at work has been delayed, missing or flat out lost. due to that virus that hit a few weeks ago. my websight is and has been down since that same time also. so either make a call or stop complaining. if they give you the run around over the phone than you know not to deal w/ them. and if i'm going to spend 2 grand it sure aint going to transpire through e-mail.

Look at it this way. You're going to invest $1500-2000 into your truck. Even if you have to pay long distance charges, a 30 minute phone call will cost you at most $25. Heck, buy one of those calling cards and really bring the cost down. Seems like a small price to pay compared to what you plant to spend in total.

Why don't you pick up the phone like others have said. I sure wouldn't give someone $2,000 without even hearing a voice. I guess that is just me. Pick up a phone! -Mat-

Last week I made three phone calls to three different tuners and spoke to them at length about their products and what they could do for me.

ummmm

This Just IN....use a telephone you bone head!!!!! That's why god invented them!!!

I called JDM Thursday afternoon and ended up having conversations with Jim, Justin and Jeremy.....so if i can call a tuner and get them direct and two of their employees, no reason why you can't.

Thanks for your opinion, I guess you're entitled to it. Never really thought of myself as a bonehead before, but due to your insightful commentary I see myself in new light. Thanks.

I might also suggest that you go back and re-read my posts. I said I preferred to make contact by email initially . I have a lot of questions and felt that email was a better forum since I didn't want to forget to ask something or be throwing numbers back and forth. I still believe that email is a better choice for that sort of thing. It was never my intention to complete the entire transaction without speaking to someonei I say as much in my initial post. In fact, part of my enquiries also include having the parts installed.

Tallimeca, I've never met you, nor do I believe we've ever talked in posts before. I've always valued your opinion in the past year and a half that I've been posting here. How sad, that a respected member of your stature has to resort to name calling with someone he doesn't even know in order to get his point across.
