For all of you with Bed Covers?...

I am seriously considering getting a hard bed cover for my L. Probably either Snug Lid or ********...Which do you think is better?....

My only problem is that I sometimes put things in the bed of my truck and the cover would interfere with that. Do you guy ever have this problem?....What do you do?....Is it hard to take on and off? Please help....

I looked @ both ******* and Snuglid~~~~~~~~~The deciding factor became price. Both covers are a well built product, and both manufactors are local for me. I went w/Snuglid because of the $125 lower price.

I would reccomend that you send your Gas Cap Cover w/your order.....For a good color match

I have to use my truck for work, and carry stuff in the back. Didn't like the idea of the limited vertical area created by a one piece cover, and didn't want to take it off to carry something tall. So I went with the Advance Fold-a-Cover. Plus it weighs in at about 30 pounds... and is strong enough to stand on.

Forgot to mention that it priced in the $300 range... hard to beat that with a stick.

I looked a the ******* cover yesterday, and while I liked the look of the cover, and it was low profile like I want. I didnt like the way they had the locks on the top of the cover where you can see them. I think the snuglid definately looks better.

Just wondering where you found one for around $300.

I'm looking for one and locally they're closer to $600.

Thanks for your information.

I looked at a few before I went back to a SnugTop for the L. They are water tight (even through a Laser wash) but there is one groove at the front of the bed rail caps that you have to seal with a small piece of foam. I do not recommed the Quick Rails that clamp to the bed rails. They do not allow the gaskets to seal.
It's easy to remove but takes 2 people. The ARE also looks like a good top but have never tried one.

I dont know Dennis, I have the Quick Rails and havent had a water leak yet. I just didnt like the idea of them drilling holes in my bed. The Snug Lid has a wire type clip that holds the shocks to the top. Your supposed to pull this clip out and the shock will come loose from the top. Then just un-clip the front hinge pins and bingo its off. Thats how its supposed to work anyway.

I need to figure out a way to open and close that lid from the inside! That would be the way to go!!!!

The ******* or the snuglid is a good choice but the best choice is still the innovation. I love mine.
