I tried but couldn't do it, so instead-->SNOW DAY, "COOL"

Well I tried.
Set it all up for the snow last night, Put all my sand bags in the truck bed right over the wheels and waited for the snow.
Well it came AND STILL IS

Cleaned it all off this morning, let it run a good 1/2 hour, made it about 6 blocks from the house and got stuck trying to make it up this "oh so slightest incline of a street"
I've been driving over 25 yrs in snow but no matter what I tried, it wasn't making it up that slight incline. Eventually I ended up inched up against a curb and Fire Hydrant and it wasn't go foward anymore, only side ways, even with hundreds and hundreds of lbs of sand over the wheels.

So I backed down the hill maybe 3 blocks and found a level side street to turn around in and came home. I called work and the boss said, "Whats the matter, your fairy truck cant make it in the snow" **** um if he can't deal without me a day

SNOW DAY

The kid had no school anyway, so instead it's fun in the snow

I got 7inches of snow here! it was hell trying to get into work in the L, and found out that no one else is here.

I'm thinking about calling it a 'snow day' like you, and just get the hell out of here

Be careful buddy, it sucks in the snow doesn't it

I take back roads to work and they're all slightly up and down hill.
I probably could have made it if I took all the main roads, but then I would have had to deal with a very long 1/2 mile to mile long hill that everyone flys up at 70MPH (on a dry day)
Of course the down side to that is the 1/2 mile to mile of DOWN HILL on the other side, I WAS NOT TAKEN THAT CHANCE

Drive Safe Bro

Rob, you can put 1000's of pounds in the back and if youre driving on stock F1's it won't help. You need SNOW TIRES and weight. Then you'd be able to climb that hill.

I always think of the old Cannon Shows when I see
that big *** car of yours Gator
They don't make um like that anymore pal.
I once bought (2) Malverne Police cars, they were 71 or 73 Plymouth Fury's with Magnum Motors and Police Heavy Duty Everything. I made one good one from the two and put a $29.99 Earl Shribe's Paint Job on it (Blue) So anyway, I was 16yrs old and I snuck out to burn one x-mas day with my Brother while a hundred relatives were over. We're at a traffic light in front of Mercy Hospital and a brand new Caddy creams into the back of me at full speed of 40-55 MPH. "His wife had just died in the Hospital and he wasn't exactly paying attention " Pushed me into oncoming traffic and almost dam near killed me. The Fury hardly had a dent, the back trunk popped open and had to be tied for the ride home. Him and the caddy got taken away in trucks with lights on them. They use to build these things like Tanks, now slide in the snow and hit something, and you do like $7500.00 in damage

Be careful Pal, I wouldn't want anything to happen to that Classic of yours

Talking

Yeah Rob if you don't have any snow tires and are using F-1's I wouldn't expect you to go anywhere. Read the disclaimer in the door jam. HaHa. I am thinking about going outside and sledding down my driveway on my crutches........or maybe not. Be safe out there people. -Mat-

Dont' sweat it Rob. Get a beater and it'll be all good.

You should see the faces of some people when I drift this thing thru some corners in the snow.
