what is the correct setting on the pinion angle for lightning stock and lowered 4 inches inthe back. mine is around 2.5 with the 6 degree bell tech shim. i think it was around 2 from the factory. what is the least or most you should have, i want it perfect before i put my traction bars on.

 

You have 2.5 positive? If so thats not a good thing for drag racing. You want -2.0 or so.... Most from the factory I have seen are about 1 positive. I run mine alittle lower but I dont drive mine everyday either.....

 

mine is -2.5 degrees . if it was positive it would vibrate terrible. what is the correct setting? mine was -2 degrees from the factory.

 

-2 to -4 is inthe range, more negative more hook, but harder on U-joints driving around....

Kind of off topic I guess. When I installed my Hotchkis 2" lowering leafs on my 03 I noticed that the stock springs had 2 degree shims already installed. I'm positive my 01 didn't have them stock. Anybody else notice this?
