no chit. stuff like that is hairpulling and extremely stressful when it happens to your 30k+ pride and joy....

whenever i run into car problems or little glitches i can never sleep well at nite....

good luck and hopefully it either goes away for good or you finally pinpoint it and its not major issue.

yeah

i bought a brand new explorer sport, had it for a year and traded it in for my lightning. Didn't even start to pay on the principal yet, so i took a huge hit trading it in, but my weekly visits to the dealer for somethign they were telling me didn't exist put me over the edge. Try driving downt he highway in the passing lane at 70 and having the thing just die on you..........power steering don't work well without power. Then you would be driving along on the side roads and it was like someone just put their hand over the throttle body all in the sudden, started back firing and everything else. Thing spent more time getting data logged and on the diagnostic computer and they could never find anything. At that point I was convinced the problem had to be the computer itself because there is no way the truck was doing what it did and not storing codes, but they wouldn't replaced the computer under warrenty until the regional rep looked at it. Dealt with this for 2 months waiting for the rep to come....never happened. The kicker is that everytime it went in, they wrote it up differently on the service invoice, so i couldn't even get lemon law on it.......my fault i guess, i didn't even think of it till after

Good luck, hope all turns out well!!!

Thanks for sticking up gator, your the man. well i picked it up, and it had like 1/4 tank which is what i brought it there with, so i went and filled it up with 93 amaco gas, i kinda have a thought that the day before all this happened i filled up with Citgo (cheap gas) and ran it all day, and than the next two days it didn't start, i know it's got nothing to do with it, but it makes me feel better thinking that i've got better quality gas in there.

but it started yesterday all day fine, but the big thing will be if it starts today when i leave in an hour. today does mark the one week aniversery of it being dumb.
