used chips ...?

First off anyone know the computer code on an 03 -

Second can you buy a used chip for a different computer code as long as it's re-burned or are the chips specific to years - but programs can be re-burned - I'm a tad confused - looking at purchasing a used JDM flip for code CUX2 can that be utilized in my truck with a re-burn?

Yes, you can use any chip, Make specific, and have it reburned. I had a chip from my Mustang reburned, when I went into Lamotta's for a tune.

I don't know about the computer code, I am not sure if they changed it from 2002.

Your computer code should be printed on a piece of white tape/paper on your rt. door.

Aren't the '03s lacking the port on the computer where you install the chip? Or was that just a rumor?

It may be cheaper to get a chip from a tuner than buy a used one. Also I believe some superchips can hold more information than others.
