Major engine cutout between shifts!!
You ain't gonna beleive it...
I've read about it on this board and others but I never thought I'd actually experience it myself...
The dreaded engine cut-out between transmission shifts... it's real... well sort of...
Took my L in for warranty service and they gave me a cheapo Taurus... got in it and took off and floored it... oh my word... talk about engine cut-off!!! Big time... darn thing nearly dies when it shifts...
Oh well... on the other hand... the owner of the dealership has a 2003 Cobra currently running 497RWHP!!! Not too bad...
Bad news... my little oil leak on the drivers side up by the head... turns out to be a blown or bad head... I'll get one of the new superduty multi thread plug heads on that side and get stuck with the ole suckie head on the other... unless of course anyone has any advice!!
Tranny is being fixed too...
I can't wait to get it back even if gas if 1.75 a gallon here in Dallas!!!
