my dad just bought a 99 f-150 and was wondering if it had keyless entry. Didnt get any remotes and doesnt know if it should be standard on 99 f-150 xlt. Has the blinking theft light on instrument panel. Can anyone verify this info. Thanks.

 

My 1997 xlt and my 01 L has no keyless entry--don't think your dad's should either???

I think he ment the key chain remote (key fob), not the Key Pad on the door. My 01 L has keyless entry, key fob, but no key pad (key pad is standard on 02 Ls).
Maybe... I bought a 97 F150 XLT and it had it. I bought a 99 F150 XLT and it did not come with it. It was an option. Some on the lot did, but not the one I wanted (color and two package) However before I signed the papers I asked that one be included... they argeed but it was a cheap Audivox Alarm/Keyless entry... dam dealer screwed me over (no surprise there).

I would check other forums to see if it can be easily added if he really wants it.
