Razors edge cold air kit

I just ordered a cold air kit from razors edge. I read alot of old posts and all of the induction kits receive similar reviews. It sounds like personal preference. So I went with the "bling" factor of the painted smooth intake tube. I hope it works out. It will be my first mod,and itonly took a month for me to break down.

You mean "air filter kit." There is nothing cold about the hot engine compartment air that kit sucks in.

They could list it on their site as a flux capacitor, but that don't make it so.

The only true cold air kits are from PSP and Johnny Lightning. All others pull hot air from the engine compartment.

Let not forget BMWBig6's elite cold air kit. Strictly for hard core L owners. LOL

I love the Razor's intake tube itself, but I would feel raped
paying $179 for it, there is nothing to it?????

just my opinion......but in reality, I really want it.

no no no, this is the "ONLY" true cold air kit I have seen for our trucks. All you get is cold air from down by the front fog light, not a ounce of unwanted air from the engine bay. HEHEHEHEHHE. I'm proud of my custom job, HEHEHEHE.

rain snow no problem, the mass air meter is up in the engine bay now but its fine in the rain. that woud have to be some major suction to get some water up in the intake from that far down and that large of a pipe, I've never had a problem in the 2 years I've had it. Filter gets dirty faster, but you just have to wash it twice as much which is no big deal.
