Yea, think I'll go out for Krispy Kream's. Probubly have to run the damn A/C though. Although I must say this is the first vehicle I've driven that I don't notice a reduction in power running air!

See there is some nice things to a Daily driver... You drive it all the time. On the other hand, I gotta wash my truck about every 2 days! Thank god for me keepin good coats of wax on the truck... makes washing easy!

droptail -

One of my criteria for any car I've bought is this:

Can it go up a hill at 90 or more miles an hour with the AC on so high that icicles can hang from the ceiling of the vehicle with no discernable loss of power....

The lightning has been best of breed so far !!!!

(I have the AC on all the time...I like it cod)

I wash by BLACK L every week, but today was the first time in 7 weeks i didn't only have a bucket of water to do it. With this heat wave, I also felt compelled to wax her.

batery run down?

Do any of your bateries run down after say intermitant storage of 7-8 days? Should I look at a high draw accessory?

Smile Daily Driver

I have to say, what fun is it having a Lightning if you dont drive it every day? Mine is a daily driver, daily hauler, daily everything. Even with snow up to the fog lights its fun to drive. I think you guys need to get your trucks out more often and experience what mother nature has to offer. By the way, a great set of snow tires and 700lbs of sand helps alot.

What you said is very true. But after putting 17,000 miles on it in the first year I decided I would give her a rest(she deserves it). Believe me I bought my truck to enjoy not let it sit. I was able to pick up a *****box Ranger and get it driving for under $300 buck so I did and I drive that for now. Strongly considering a 2003 Status Sedan RT though as a daily driver if I can afford it. Who knows. I am glad you enjoy your truck though. -Mat-

P.S. I just bought a set of snow tires for it(The Lightning that is). HaHa.
