Where do you guys buy your fuel filters? (Motorcraft FG - 986B) I just went to the new Auto Zone in Linden, Straus, KMart, NAPA (all on St. George) and none of them carry them.

Any ideas other than Ford (Bell/Loman)? I went to Bell a few months ago for something and they were total a-holes.

I usually order a few of them at a time from www.fordpartsonline.com

 

Just go to your local Ford service department. Try Malouf, Fullerton, or Bound Brook.

I got mine from Fullerton.

JDM has them in stock, I am sure they are at the shop, drive over and pick one up

 

Thanks, Don. JDM is a about 30 minutes from here, may'be longer because of all the maniacs on the roads today. The sad thing is, I have two Ford dealerships within 2 miles but I didn't want to use them because they..well..uh...you know.


I want to get this done asap, so I bit the bullet and picked one up at one of the aformentioned dealerships.

One is notoriously bad and the one I wound up getting the filter from, I had a bad experience earlier this year with the parts guy. That's all I'll say about it.
