After carful research of subwoofers lately, I've come to the conclusion that the only way I'm going to get the Sound Quality and SPL from my stereo is to add more woofers.

And with that said, I have to say this is going to be one hell of a challenge but it will be crazy if and WHEN I get this installed and done in my truck.

The plan for the beast is FIVE 10" IDQ D4 v.2's. They go into an enclosure thats as small as .35 cubic feet and still make plenty of boom and have great SQ. They only handle 250RMS 500 peak, but I'll have 5 of them so thats about right for a 1500 watt amp. I had 3 of them before and they did sound good, great SQ, but I just wanted more SPL so adding two more to the misture should do it for me. well its off to designing this box now.

I can get a box thats 60inchs wide x 13.75 tall atleast maybe taller x 11.5 inch deep bottom and 7.5 inch deep top. So I can do about .6 cubic feet per sub and I really only need .40 per sub with woofer displacement, so maybe adding one more might ne an idea too? HEHEHEHE.

Just put in my custom box and 2 JL Audio 10's, sounds great-I can't imagine what 5 would sound like. I'm gonna take some picks this weekend.

HAHAHHA, nothing like sitting out in the bed of your truck looking up at the stars out in boofoo in a cornfield where nobody can here you or see you. Blankets and pillows to make it more homy like, yeah those are fun night I tell ya.
