cat converter?

I need to purchase some high flow cats today and have some questions. Does anyone know if we need the ones w/air or without? Also if I were to go the cheaper route, are the stock cats too long to install long tubes?

by "with air or without" I assume you mean do they need secondary air injection ports or bungs welded in. the answer to this is no.

the stock pipes have 4 converters, you mike it work (from an installation or physical standpoint anyway) by removing the front cats and only using the rears. I don't know though, and I don't know how this would affect the function of the factory cats.

later,
chris
