Intake gasket problem

Just wanted to know if anyone else is having a problem with intake gaskets. Pulled the intake off yesterday and the gasket had a hole in it. Last time it was installed, I did not torque them down (this may be the problem). Just wanted to know before I start putting things back together on Friday.

Upper adaptor or lower intake? Not torquing is probably the cause.

It is the lower intake to the heads (the plastic and rubber gaskets)
