Red face Apology for my Feud on the KB thread

I just want to apologize for my fued with Flying **** on the Works or KB thread. I am sorry that I had to drag the thred down like that, but I couldn't let his half and full untruths go without commenting.

I tied to be objective and fair untill he siad it was hacksawed up and then said I blamed Works for the problems with the blower.

I wish I didn't have to rehash these old wonds, but I don't feel he gave me any other choice. Also I stand behind everything I said.

I hope we can all behave, and I am sure both blowers are going to work great and everyone will be happy.

Calightnin thanks for the UPS invioce, looks like he was trying to get me to pay my 3 day select , and also for REM's 2 blowers sent 2nd day air shipping . Nice Huh

Now you see why I have been fighting over the shipping charges with them, and now I know why he never sent me a invioce.


BTW-Don I got all your console accessories in today.

IBelow is a copy of the Shipping Record (3 day not 2 day) on your blower. Considering the check is dated on July 11th....... probably five working days in the mail form east to west coast.....shipping out your blower on the 24th seems like pretty good service to me. You are right and I apologize, my dates were off, but that was never a issue untill I was told that I owed him $300.00 for shipping the blower out. I never even thought to look at the check, or check the dates untill ICULKIN sent me a e-mail saying I had to send Chris $300.00 before he would send the intake to Sal.

I should have checked my notes before I posted the dates. In the heat of the moment I forgott if I went to JDM at the end of July or early in August. My main dispute was allways the $300 shipping charge that I refused to pay.

Seem's to me the lesson for the rest of us is this: whichever blower we choose to purchase, we'd be better off purchasing from an authorized distributor/installer who has a relationship with the manufacturer and the purchaser.

Don- I'm sorry we had to learn this at your expense.

Seems to me that Works really tried to get one over on you Don. I thought Magnuson were the only ones trying to rip you off. Now the truth rears it's ugly head and Works also tried to get in on the action.

Hey guys I just got home and looks like I owe you all a 2nd apology. Last night I let Flying ****'s trouble making get the better of me. I shouldn't have sunk to his level, but I did. Then Calighnins post fed my anger even further this AM.

I have had a chance to think about things all day, and do some research on just when and what happened in July.

Now that I am home and calmer I have had a chance to look at my records from over 6 months ago. I guess the first thing to go with age is your memory. While I am still confused about why Chris didn't cash my check for a month, he never tried to rip me off

What happend is Richard sent me a e-mail telling me that Chris wouldn't send the blower to Sal until I paid a shipping charge. Somehow there was a misunderstanding between Sal and Richard over something Chris and I had worked out.

When I got that e-mail I was like what the F is going on. I should have called Chris and asked him what it was about, but I didn't. The $300 was something totally different, that neither of Richard or Sal knew about.

I guess it was my mistake to let Richard take care of getting the intake shipped to him, but at that point I was a little dissapointed with the whole thing and just figured to let Richard deal with it.

I kind of wish I had never asked Chris to send the blower to NJ, even though I don't think JDM had anything to do with the problem. Since then all the nay sayers on the board have cast doubt on the install, but hindsight is allways 20/20

I have taken it off a few times and it a real easy install. I was a little nervous at the time and when Jim offerd to install it for free I said why not.

There is no way to say now what would have happened if I would have installed it myself, but I bet it would have still failed. I still think it was just a defective unit from Magnuson.

Flying **** can you do me and us a favor, if you are not involved in something, keep your mouth shut. Please don't try to create drama and controversy on the boards. If you can help someone with a technical question.

Some of the earlier coments you made on the Works or KB thread were constructive coments, but then you started slinging mud. You were not there when the blower was installed, or when Chris opened it up. So if you didn't see it yourself shut up, and don't try to stir things up.

This has been a expensive and touchy subject for me. You got me upset and instead of ignoring it, or calling you a Jerk, I lashed out.

The unfortunate thing is Chris and Works got dragged into the mud slinging. I can only imagine what this has done to his buisness and orders on the new blowers.

Chris I am sorry I lashed out and you got caught up in the mess. That was not my intent, you have been very fair with me and tried to take care of my problems. You even went out of your way to get me the blower in time for me to make it into the 11's at FFW this past August.

So I hope you all and Chris accept my apology, and please lets move on.
