On the Insurance auction I' am a member of there is a 01 silver Lightning with cromed 20's sitting in a salvage yard the damage is only $8,500 it is going to be a good buy for somebody I already bid on it.
I will post pics of it if it doesn' t offend anybody.

I work with a guy that traded his silver 01 in at a Houston dealership a few months ago and some bozo bought it within a few days and wrecked it. Truck was hit hard in the front end and was susposed to go to auction. Could be the same truck. When he traded it, it did not have the 20's or bed cover. Guess the new owner could have put them on. Was the truck hit in the front end?

All this truck needs is a front end assy and a hood, airbags and a few other thises and thats the damage was said to be $8,249. If you look closely the back brake light is a screw up on this one it has a 00 Break light but the truck is a 01.

Thanks for all the wishes with the surgery, I think everything will be fine. I have made arrangements with my Dad to keep you guys posted on my progress, as I will post aswell after I get my CDPD internet fixed on my lap top.

If all turns out well as a celebration I' am going to ask you guys when and were is the biggest lightning owners meet is and what day and time. I have not been on a holiday for a while and I would like to meet all of you. This will be discussed at a later date.

If you look at the front right tire there still is a trace of bling left in her. Poor little L!

 

That was/is a Dallas Truck, not sure the original owner wrecked it though.
