How about porting the oe tb yourself and buy the fan/pump?
Almost like having both for the price of one.

go with the fan/pump......and spend a couple of hours and port your own throttle body. I don't have the fan/pump(yet) but i did port and then powder coat(to lazy to polish) my throttle body. look on REM's website for picks of ported throttle bodies, you can do the same thing, if your comfortable with that kind of stuff....hard to tell from pick, but i think my throttle body looks as good as the bling bling $500 single blade. i'll try and find some pics of the TB with the air hose off......

Fan/pump is my choice. If you do a search here and on NLOC you will find a bunch of supporting posts.

I have thought about trying to port the stock t/b but dont have any experience. I do have a dremel which is what most people use right? What type of wheels do I need. Where exactly do I port?

dremel will work fine, use a flap wheel, and then hand sand with different grits working up to 300 or more wet sand, depending on how smooth you want it. the material is very "soft" so its easy to grind. you can safely grind away that big **** in the center too. look on razors edge motorsports website and go under ported throttle bodies, youll get a good idea of what to do from the pics. remove the throttle blades when you do it, but be careful not to "ovalize" the center section where the blades fit against the wall or it might not seal up properly and will mess up your idle. i would post pics but my truck is in storage.
