I have this light sqeak that sems to be comming from the front left side of my truck. Like I said you really have to listen for it... It seems to be more noticable when coasting over slight bumps with the radio all the way down and your foot off the gas... Tt doesn't sound like a wheel bearing, I don't think and there is no noticable play in the wheel. It may possibly be a door panel or something of the sort it didn't seem to appear until the whole stereo was installed. Please help it is ever so faint but drives me nuts

 

re check both bearing there is no pay in the wheel at all. All groud effect and fenders are tight. Chasis is lubed..irrating sound is still prsent..any ideas

 

This may sound strange, but I had a similar problem. I had a buddy hang out in the bed while driving and it turned out to be in the tailgate (after I spent a ton of time checking underneath). Driver side latch was squeaking. It sounded like it was coming from the front from inside the cab. Anyway, a little Liquid Wrench and it stopped.

 

Did you lube the cables or what? Please help this is driving me mad ...I sprayed some sulicone lub on the cables perhaps thatwasn't te squeak area..any one else?

 

your just going to have to get somebody to drive while your in the bed of the truck
