i went to the dealer today and got my horn fixed. I also asked them to look at my foglights. he said that they looked like a rock had hit them. I told him if a rock hit them that it would have a chip in it and that there was no chip in them. He sadi he would check on it while they where fixing the horn. When i came back to pick up my truck he was busy so i didnt ask if they where going to warranty the foglights but he said they had them ordered and would have them by the end of the week. So he had me wondering the whole way home if they were going to warranty them. On the invoice he wrote the cause was:

PR Part Requisitioned
478 C
Any ford emplyees know what that means. Thanks for any help

Had the same problem with mine. One dealer said I had to pay, the other told me they would warranty them. It seems to be a heat problem cause mine cracked from the inside also. Keep trying different dealers! Don't know what that means on the invoice?

 

Sounds like warranty, but hell if they want money when you go to pick them up say CYA.....and go somewhere else.
