boost actuator wire cut

I was going to do the boost actuator adjustment trick when i notice a wire cut from it. It the first booted wire pointing toward the fire wall on the black cylinder actuator in Chuck's picture of the actuator adjustment pic.

what is this wire? was it even a wire at all? it appears to be cut or torn or something.

as long as its hooked up, no problem. When you have a vacuum line un plugged , you'll have a rough idle

ermm... Im confused now

Fast Gator.... Its cut... is it suppose to be like that. all thats attatched to the actuator is the boot itself and a small portion of the wire.

are you saying that there is a cut in it?
Start the truck up, and put your finger over the cut, you should feel it sucking, if its cut. You can drive it to the dealer, but it might stall at an idle. Just keep the rpms at around 1000
