TQ is OK but I need more HP!

I am happy with my tq numbers, for now. But my hp is lower then I wanted. What can I do for more hp. I was told to go with an
e-fan and r pump. I was told it would free up about 10rwhp. That would still put me about 5 hp short of my goal. What other mods can get me to my goal!

Power making mods as of now:
6lb lower
Filter
Chip

with the same torque you would have to increase the rpm, hp is just a measurement of an amount of work done in a certain amount of time ie torque and rpm respectively. someone correct me if im wrong

Not really, you are still getting the bugs worked out, Have you had the A/F checked? Sent the Dyno files to Sal with the Chip for a reburn?

Joe, your truck is making great power for what you have. While you have spent lots of money on the truck, most of it on the new motor, you don't have many items that increase hp. For the few items you DO have, that truck is making great power. Even though you had race fuel in the truck at the time, you dynoed on the street program. If you had dynoed on the race program with it's extra timing for the race fuel, you would have been at the 400/500 mark for sure. We just need to make some a/f adjustments on your street side for that crappy CA pump gas, but don't be upset at the numbers, because they are great.

why not just put a bigger pulley on since you have a built motor.

Yeah if you were on a street program with race gas, you killed quite a bit of power right there, TO high of octane for your tune can really hurt your power!! Dont worry man, you will be over a few marks soon!!

388 hp and 495 ft-lbs is nothing to be ashamed of. There are some L's with bigger numbers but 388/495 is impressive.
