Porting TB

I was porting my stoc throtle body and i took out the throttle plates. When i put them back in and tightened them down bu the plates are still loose. Anybody have any tips on how to fix this?

I no longer have my stock th/body so I'm guessing: It has to be the screws...??? Are you sure you have them in 'right-side-up'? Or, is it the shaft that is loose?

it is the actual plates that are loose not the shaft

if you opened up the actual bore where the blades contact the outer edges, then thats why its loose, same thing when i ported mine, but if you look the blades are not upright so there is room for adjustment, loosen the two screws holding each of the blades in place then turn down the throttle stop screw until they seal against the outer TB wall, tighten the screws back up and then readjust your TPS voltage...........worked for me, i took a bunch of material out of my TB too, so you should be fine......
