Anyone know about Borla for Lightning?

Anyone know about Borla for Lightning?

Is it specific for the L ?

Anyone hear how it sounds?

How does it compare with the Bassani and the JDM?

k

Borla isn't as loud as the JDM and I'm sure it doesn't flow as well because the pipe isn't 2.5" like the JDM.

My fathertried it for about 20 min.
It sounded very quit w/ some raspyness (sp.)

But like most Borla's you have to give it time to break in.

I would have kept it but it's not my money.

Quality was 2nd to none

I have it and I think the fit sucks . The tips do not come out far enough no matter how I try to adjust it . Every other L that i have see with it looks the same . I like the sound but am pissed about the tips .I contacted them and they basically told me tough luck seeing that the catback was a gift to me and I did not buy it .
Get something better like a Silver bullet or Bassani.

Do your tips come out as far as the stock catback?

The ones I have done (4) seemed to fit just as original. I had to tweak the hangers a bit to get everything centered, but other than that a good fit. I can take photos of tips if it will help you. Also how long have you had yours? Borla has been good working with us on different problems with fittment. Maybe we can help on our end if there is a fittment problem, possibly an incorrect weld? Let me know if I can help. I am in mass.
