Too much boost??? Help!

I currently have a 2000L with a PSP 2# lower pulley, 2# upper pulley, and a JDM cold air kit (1# ???). I want to change my lower pulley...should I go with a 4# or a 6# lower? My only concern would be the 6# lower, 2# upper, and the cold air kit would create too much boost for the blower. Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.

If you have the tune for it, and don't get on it while doing a 85 MPH run down the freeway.....you could get away with it.

I am going to be trying the 6# with a 2 upper in 2 weeks...I'll let ya know what it does if you ask me then to remind me about your question.

Add in....No it won't creat too much boost for the blower. It's the rods you will be risking.

The more I think about your question the more I get worried about your truck. The blower is what creates the boost. You can push the pully so far that you won't get any more benifit from it.
But the cold air intake does not create boost. it allows more airflow for the blower to use.

Do a boatload of research before you frag your lower end. Plugs...chip...tune of chip and even plug gap are all part of a larger pulley and thus more boost.
