called the dealership about fuel filter...

i called westway ford to day to get a new motorcraft fuel filter...the guy in the parts department quoted me 22 bucks. i dont know but that sounds a little steep to me considering i remember someone posting that it was 10-15 bucks. i would have gone to autozone but they didnt carry motorcraft. any ideas on where i can get one pretty cheap?

Bought mine from http://www.fordpartsonline.com

Local dealer is always more on parts for me. I needed a fan blade for my gen1 and the local dealer wanted $89. Got it from fordpartsonline for $53...even w/ shipping it's much cheaper.

After not being able to locate a Motorcraft fuel filter anywhere but the dealer, I bought a Purolator for $6.99 and a line disconnect tool for $4.99 at Autozone.

Be cautious though, because the Purolator reference book lists the incorrect filter for the Lightning! Autozone lists the correct number in their computer system.

I sware the two filters side by side look like they were made at the same plant.
