I've learned a Lot in the past few weeks on what to buy and what not to for the Lightning.
I was thinking I was going to get screwed by the insurance until today. Will today the insurance bill and card came. The insurance card say's 2001 SVT-Lightning and the permium went down. OK, I had a 2001 Ford Ranger before the Lightning. Go Figure

So Far I have installed
JDM Air-Filter, Boost by past
Replaced fuel filter
The exhaust was change when I bought it. (FlowMaster?)
Next Mod will be Factoy Tech Value body, (4X4 pan and filter)
bought today. Will install when FTVB goes in.
Than I'll buy the CHIP!

 

 

When I went from a 1995 Mercury Sable to a 1999 Lightning, my insurance went down also. After the first year with the Lightning, my insurance went down again (No accidents/tickets). The amount it went down was only 2%, but a discount is a discount, right?
Well, it seems that the insurance companys where rating the Lightning as a F150, V-8, auto. My insurance company (AIG) got wise last year, and my policy took a $600 a year jump \
