Is he changing everything???? Calipers, rotors, pads??? seems a little high to me. Even if he is changing rotors. Do it yourself. You'll save bank. Do a search on aftermarket rotors and pads, might cost a little more, but you'll be ahead of the game when finished.

There is a vender called Ruslow that sells dimpled and slotted rotors for Lightnings $290/pair. Here is his website: http://www.ruslow.com/RotorFt.html
He is a vender on NLOC. Hope this helps...

Ruslow also sells many other parts that make the Lightning handle excellent! Such as his panhard bar

What about Raoul?

Time to upgrade to Brembos, if it will cost that much.

<<<<they started to crack but the dealer quoted me around 500 dollars >>>>>

I just called local Ford (non svt) dealership on a non related subject...................I asked to be switched to service writer..............Capo Ford quoted me $260 complete (price includes new rotors if needed. )

I changed to Ruslows Rotors and am very happy w/them
I see you live in San Diego.....Capo Ford is a little North of the San Diego/Orange Co border

P.S. Stay away from their Parts Dept "mucho banditos":bandito

I dunno. They talk the talk but, whenever I go into Suspension it's just a bunch of people talkin' 'torsion bars' and 'spring compressors' and they seem to be able to come and go as they please so I just don't pay it no mind anymore.

I'm not a smart *** anyways.
