Question Where to find cheap Ford ESP Warranty ?

Going to pick up my '03 L tomorrow and I need to play some hard ball with the dealer on the extended warranty plan. I remember someone on this board sold the warranties for a steep discount but I guess he is no longer around and I see his website is down.

Anyone know what cost is on the premium 7 year 100k $50 deduct or happen to know where I might be able to find a good price on this warranty?

You better have a mod friendly dealer or a virgin L to keep from getting VOIDED!

I paid $1200 for my 7/100K ESP on my 03 L. Barely $20 on a 5 year note, but well worth the peace of mind.
What color L are you getting?
Good luck and welcome to the family.

No plans on any major mods. Maybe a ram air filter kit and magnaflow eventually. Definite stereo work.

Was that 1200 with the $50 deductable?

Great Site. They only want $2500 for the plan the local dealer wants $1700 for and that whitestx got for $1200.

Deus,
You can buy the plan from ANY Ford dealership. And, as long as it's less than 1 year old, for the same price as if the truck were new. After 12 months, the price goes up a bit, but not too much.
I did misinform you though...I just looked at the paperwork and it's a 6/75K Premium with $50 deduct for $1100. Sorry about my brain-fart.

I cannot remember the web site address, but there is a guy, i think his name is jim. He used to sell the custom L floormats. He had a site www.lightningmats.cc. this site is dead now. I found out about it on the NLOC board. I checked with him when i bought my L and he was selling, i think the 7/100 for a little less than 1500. My truck was used, so a new truck might have been cheaper. 1700 from the dealer is not bad. I understood that ford usually lists that warranty for over 2500. I took jims price to the dealer and they matched it. post the Q on the nloc board. someone will probably know. you could probably do a google search and maby come up it.

I know it can be bought at any dealer. My concern is getting it wrapped into the financing package.

I got the 6/75K Premium with $50 deduct for 1100 also. It's a must have if your going to keep your L.

FordSales (Jim) is out of the warranty business. I believe he said I was the last one in November. The main reason was all the !@$holes that bounced checks and cost him money out of pocket when he was doing this all for free.

Hmmmm…That is a dealer site, and they used to be real cheap. Oh well

5 year/75k Premium Care $835 cost
5 year/100k Premium Care $1170 cost
6 year/100k Premium Care $1440 cost

These are the dealer cost figures. Make any reasonable offer.
